BALDWIN PARK, Calif. — October 31, 2026. Baldwin Park has announced a $3 million state investment toward the proposed new Teri G. Muse Family Service Center, a facility intended to bring social, legal, health and family support programs together for residents.
The city lists the investment among its October 2026 press releases. An October 28 regional news account of the city’s announcement attributes the funding to Assemblywoman Blanca Rubio and describes plans for a more accessible, centralized center.
What the center does today
The existing Teri G. Muse Family Service Center, 14305 Morgan Street, provides space for nonprofit agencies that deliver social, health and human services. The city lists operating hours of Monday–Thursday, 11 a.m.–8 p.m., although anyone needing a specific program should confirm that program’s hours separately.
How much funding has been announced?
The latest $3 million state investment adds to earlier announced federal funding, including a $3.15 million fiscal 2026 investment for the center’s modernization and expansion and prior federal support. These amounts are funding announcements, not proof that construction has been completed or that every dollar has been spent.
Residents can ask city officials about project design, procurement, final construction costs, accessibility and the eventual opening schedule as those plans are made public.
